All are invited to a Mass at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Tyler at 6:00 PM on March 25th. This beautiful Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord is a great opportunity to join Pope Francis in praying for the Consecration of Ukraine and Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Let us heed the call of the Blessed Virgin Mary to repent of our sins and pray for peace. Praying for the consecration of these nations, or our own nation and of every nation in the world is one way we can pursue peace seeking the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ. Our hearts are heavy with the violence we see unfolding in Eastern Europe and in too many other places in the world but our greatest strength is to live in the Light of Jesus Christ. The Immaculate Virgin Mary guides each of us with her motherly care toward the Light of Her Son. Let us humbly seek His Light and trust that true and lasting peace in our hearts and in our world flows from His Light.
