Was looking through the pictures of the Chapel's progress on my Blog and noticed that the one of the dirt work was taken on September 11, 2010. We've come a long way in a year.
We hope to set a dedication date soon and we will get the word out ASAP after a firm date is chosen.
Joseph Strickland
Bishop Joseph E. Strickland was named the fourth bishop of Tyler in September of 2012 by Pope Benedict XVI. Prior to being named bishop, he served a number of roles in the diocese, including vicar general, judicial vicar, and pastor of the Cathedral parish. He was ordained to the priesthood in 1985.
