Brothers and Sisters in the Lord Jesus,

I hope you are aware of the Equality Act that Congress is presently considering and the destructive elements of this legislation. The bishops of the United States have composed a statement calling for the faithful to speak clearly against this Act. I echo their call for prayer and for citizens to contact their elected representatives urging them to vote against this legislation.

Let us continue to pray for our nation and beg the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Joseph.

God bless you,

Bishop Joseph Strickland
